Talk to a Radiographer

How the call works, and what it does not cover.

Read this before you request a call so you know exactly what to expect, and when a question belongs with your doctor or a radiologist instead.

How it works

One request, one focused call.

The flow is kept short because most people arrive already worried, tired, or holding a referral they do not understand.

Step 1

Send the scan question

Write the scan name, referral wording, and the worry you want cleared up.

Step 2

Pay after details check

The form checks the essentials first. Paystack opens only when the request is ready.

Step 3

We confirm the call time

Phone or WhatsApp is the default. If video helps, we send a Google Meet link after confirming the time.

What this call is for

Understanding what scan was written on your referral.

Preparing for fasting, full bladder, contrast, or MRI safety checks.

Knowing what will happen when you arrive at the center.

Knowing when your question should go back to your doctor or a radiologist.

Clear boundary

No diagnosis, treatment plan, emergency care, or report interpretation. If that is what you need, we will redirect you to your doctor or a radiologist.

When we redirect

Some questions need your doctor or a radiologist.

The safest service is one that knows its limits. If your question leaves the scan-guidance lane, the radiographer will say so clearly.

Questions

Quick answers before you pay.

This helps you decide if a scan-guidance call is the right fit before you submit a request.

Is this the same as seeing a doctor?
No. This is scan guidance from a radiographer. Diagnosis, treatment advice, and report interpretation stay with your referring doctor or a radiologist.
Can I ask about contrast, fasting, or full bladder prep?
Yes. Those are exactly the kinds of questions this call is for. Share the scan name and any instruction you were given.
Can I use video instead of phone?
Yes. Choose video if it helps you show a referral or explain the concern. We use Google Meet after confirming the time. Phone or WhatsApp is still fastest for most patients.
What happens after I pay?
Your request enters the queue. RadFAQS contacts you on the phone or WhatsApp number you provided to confirm the exact call time within normal working hours.
What if my question needs a radiologist?
The radiographer will say so clearly. If you need report interpretation, they will not handle it inside this call.
