Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using RadFAQS ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. What RadFAQS is — and is not

RadFAQS is a digital radiology directory and scan-guidance platform. We help patients find diagnostic centers, generate a structured request card, and request a booking at a partner or non-partner center. We also offer paid scan guide calls with radiographers for preparation and referral questions.

RadFAQS is not an emergency service and does not replace your treating physician. RadFAQS does not perform scans, diagnose, or interpret imaging. RadFAQS does not monitor requests, messages, or call notes in real time, and information you submit — including any "urgent" or "ASAP" label — will not reach us any faster than a routine message. Do not use RadFAQS to seek help for an emergency, and do not wait for a reply if your situation is urgent. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately. Treatment decisions remain with you and your doctor.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to request a booking or service. Where the patient is a minor, the request must be made and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts and access

Patients do not need to create an account to use RadFAQS. You request a booking or service directly, and reach it through a private link we send you.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current information when you make a request or submit clinical details for a request card.
  • You must not submit another person's information without their permission, or impersonate anyone.
  • Partner centers and authorised staff who are given login access are responsible for keeping their credentials secure and must not share them.

5. Uploading a referral document

If you choose to upload a referral document (for example, a photo or PDF of a referral letter from your doctor) you confirm that:

  • You are the patient, the patient's legal guardian, or a clinician acting with the patient's informed consent.
  • You consent to the document being shared with the diagnostic center handling your booking and to it being stored securely in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • The file is free of malware and you have the right to share it.

Uploading a document is optional — you can instead enter your request details directly into the form. RadFAQS does not review, interpret, or report on any document or image you upload.

6. Diagnostic center bookings

For partner-center bookings, RadFAQS facilitates the slot reservation. The actual scan is performed by, billed by, and is the responsibility of the diagnostic center. RadFAQS is not responsible for the clinical conduct, equipment quality, or staffing of any third-party center.

For non-partner referrals, RadFAQS only generates a digital referral document. You are responsible for contacting the center to confirm availability. We do not guarantee a slot.

7. Scan guide calls

Scan guide calls are provided by radiographers for scan preparation, referral wording, safety questions, and what to expect during imaging. They are not diagnosis, treatment advice, emergency care, or formal radiology report interpretation.

If your question requires a doctor or radiologist, the radiographer will explain that boundary and redirect you to the appropriate route.

8. Payments and refunds

  • Payments are processed by Paystack. Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Booking fees for diagnostic centers are non-refundable. They cover the slot reservation and digital referral generation regardless of whether you ultimately attend.
  • Scan guide call fees reserve a radiographer's time and become non-refundable once the call has been scheduled or completed.
  • If we cannot deliver a service for which you have paid (for example, technical failure on our side), we will issue a full refund.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for anything illegal or harmful.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share, or upload another person's medical data without their consent.
  • Attempt to bypass security, scrape data, or interfere with the platform's normal operation.
  • Use the platform to harass, defame, or threaten anyone — including radiologists, center staff, or other users.

10. Intellectual property

The RadFAQS platform, design, branding, and FAQ library are owned by RadFAQS and protected by copyright and other laws. You may read and share FAQ content for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. Any other use requires written permission.

Any referral document you upload remains your property. By uploading it you grant us the limited licence necessary to deliver the service.

11. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is." While we work hard to keep it available and accurate, we do not warrant that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-assisted features (such as BeamAI Q&A) will be free from mistakes. AI outputs are educational and must not be treated as medical advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, RadFAQS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Termination

You may request deletion of your booking and personal data at any time by contacting support@radfaqs.com. We may suspend or terminate partner-center or staff accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts in Lagos State, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the change constitutes acceptance.
